Speech & Language Pathology
An individual's ability to communicate is essential to the continuation of his/her quality of life. Speech therapy services are provided to those individuals who, through stroke, accident,degenerative disease, or other causes, would benefit from an increase in their ability to communicate effectively. Difficulties in using expressive/receptive language, controlled movements of the speech mechanism, and in eating/swallowing can be addressed by speech therapy treatment with goals and objectives individualized for each patient.
